My Continuing Professional Development (CPD) includes training/workshops in:
Working with Transgender clients
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT)
Integrating CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy)
Trauma, PTSD and CPTSD
and issues around suicide.
I am continually updating my learning around counselling.
My philosophy is that we are all 'in this together' in life.
I am a human just like you and simply have my humanity to offer.
My view is that when you encounter another person in the confidence of real acceptance then you can meet, discover, and explore yourself.
Self-acceptance, courage and freedom to live can follow.
